IT professionals are invited to download the ready-to-go virtual machine of CHOReVOLUTION, and provide feedback for a chance to win a WiFi-camera-equipped drone.
Paris, November 27, 2017 - OW2, the global community for open source infrastructure software, announces the launch of CHOReVOLUTION beta-testing campaign. IT professionals are invited to download the virtual machine, fill in the feedback questionnaire and they might win a WiFi-camera-equipped drone!

The CHOReVOLUTION platform is a new Integrated Development and Runtime Environment (IDRE) for creating innovative distributed applications integrating things and services. It incorporates the latest in EU-funded research on service choreographies, execution middleware and cloud deployment.
CHOReVOLUTION makes possible IoT-enabled applications that create value in complex and fast changing business contexts such as Smart Mobility, Smart Cities, Smart Retail, Industry 4.0, etc.
The beta-testing campaign will continue until Jan. 31, 2018. Software professionals can now download the CHOReVOLUTION virtual machine which comes ready to go with a Debian distribution and the full platform. They will be guided step by step through their first “Hello world” CHOReVOLUTION application, a scalable, secured distributed eCommerce application. They are then invited to provide feed-back on a short questionnaire for a chance to win a WiFi-camera-equipped drone.
A hands-on workshop is organised at Paris Open Source Summit to support this beta-testing campaign. The CHOReVOLUTION development team will provide hands-on tutorial and demonstrations and guide participants through their first developments. This workshop is to take place December 6th, 2017, in room Plateau 1. Seating is limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis, through this online registration.
